Our institute runs a fund with little to no external investors. We disclose our track records, as well as some of our investment strategies and financial research.
Our fund invests or plans to invest in a variety of asset classes. However, the very core of our investment approach linked to our excellent team and their insights. We are open to new ideas for investment strategies that involve experimental models and analysis, with careful consideration and risk management.

Hyeonjun (Peter) Kim

Hyeonjun Kim is the passionate researcher in investment science. His interest areas are machine learning-based empirical asset pricing. Hyeonjun is currently a research director at IOB Lab.
Junhwi (Jun) Kim
Founder, IOB
Research Associate, IOB Lab
Junhwi Kim specializes in behavioral finance and its impact on stock prices. Junhwi have several working experiene in the financial industry, from business consulting for startup funding to quantitative and financial data analysis for investment stratgy and trading systems.
Byunghyun Kang
Research Assistant, IOB Lab
Byunghyun Kang is a newly emerging researcher candiate in our institute. His thorough mathematical analysis skills and passion for financial economics is highly valued among our colleagues. Currently he is working on inflation hedging strategies.
Yunho (John) Cho
Research Associate, IOB Research Center
Yunho Cho is our qualitative research associate with a strong background in equity research and fund management. He has experience in private equity and venture capital, along with over two years of successfully managing stock portfolios.
